UoNA - Welcome Cooperative Education

Director of Co-operative Education

The goal of the University of North America is to provide its students with an outstanding, integrated education linking current academic theory to real world applications.   Thus, it is the expectation that each student enrolled in an on-ground program will participate in a Cooperative Education experience. This program allows students to achieve the following benefits: work experience, work related contacts, improved interpersonal skills, and enhanced marketability after graduation. The employer, in turn, receives motivated and eager employees with academically current skills.

This program allows for the interaction between the prospective employer, students and the university through the establishment of the Cooperative Learning Agreement that is signed and followed by all parties. Ultimately, this team approach to cooperative education provides a unique experiential learning opportunity for the student while simultaneously benefitting the employer.

For additional information about the program, contact the Director of the Cooperative Education Department at +1 (571) 633-9651 or by email:coop@uona.us.
